We are LOOKING FOR TWO Bike Es - any models. We love my neighbor's. I've wanted a recumbent for 6 years! Didn't know that a Bike E would be so nice until riding my neighbor's.
Don't need shocks, so ANY MODEL WILL BE FINE. We don't hang out with bike mechanics or welders, so it MUST BE IN GOOD WORKING CONDITION OR EASILY FIXED (but the appearance doesn't matter very much).
One of us can drive to you (with cash). My husband or I can work around your schedule. Thanks, Mary Bell

I am in Ventura county (Thousand Oaks) & I have a Bike-e for sale. It doesnt have a rear shock, so I imagine it is the CT model. Everything works great. It has the lower back seat (1/2 rise seat back). Well taken care of and serviced at local bike shop. I am selling it for $500. I really dont want to sell it but I need to pay some urgent bills since my unemployment ran out. If you're interested, call my cell phone (619) 459-0082 or email me mjr@makeItHappenDoItNow (dot) com. Thanks. --Michael

Yes, the CT didn't have shocks, but the FX had the low seat-back. I have learned a lot since posting here. When I posted, I didn't know there was a low seat-back, but on Wed., I tried a BikeE with a low seat-back. I read somewhere (Bicycleman.com?) the low seat-back allows more body English for balancing off-road (and anywhere). More upper body movement IS possible, which can be nice, but I now want to relax on paved routes. So the high-back is a must-have for me. Sorry to disappoint you. Say, if the drive chain runs from the rear derailleur to the pedal-crank, then it is more likely a CT. Only the CT and AT lack the mid-frame crankset. But who knows, there seem to be "hybrid" BikeEs with attributes of different models. I've seen more BikeEs for sale on Craig's list and ebay. At your price, you will need to pay for shipping. Good luck. Mary Bell

Hey Mike, I remembered that a man selling several bikes (and one or two BikeEs) included this link in his Craig's list ad: www.youtube.com/watch?v=GVXBEfnRFNw&NR=1 "Bike E MTN Bike Info" I didn't try the link since it's often better to just "search" for key words, but you could try it and add it to your listing if it works.
