Hi All! I've now acquired a (possible the third for NI?) Bike E CT from DTEK in Cambridge UK. I think it's a late model, with short tail, Comfy Seat & 3x8 Dual Drive gears. I can't believe how fast it seems. From the little while I got between showers today I've already acquired that special grin! I met Robin a couple of months ago and he kindly gave me a brief run on his CT - I was hooked! (Thanks Robin!) A bit of internet searching and I came up with DTEK's contact in Cambridge UK - Kevin there says he has Bike E's regularly for sale - He is really helpful and wants to encourage the spread of recumbents. As Robin has already noted, 'bents are really scarce in NI, and Bike E's even more rare.
All I need now is a bit of summer weather to get my legs in shape (and the rest of me!!) [Current weather would be a grand day for November - Brrrrr! Mudguards - ('fenders' for US folks) are on order!]

Welcome on board. That makes three BikeEs in Northern Ireland and I don't know of any elsewhere in the island. You never know; we may be in the majority now. I know of only two others having previously owned a Pashley PDQ SWB myself fwt.txdnl.com/6-20/l/e/lejog/pdq_lrg.gif and seen one LWB 'bent in Coleraine. I've been told of one that commutes from Carrickfergus to Belfast which sounds like a Sun EZ. Regards, Robin.
