cable configuration at front end

I disassembled my bike E to take it to Mexico. It doesn't seem to me that I have the front cables back around the steering stem the way they were originally. The brake gets in the way of my foot for one thing.

I would really appreciate an image file attached to e mail that shows how the front is supposed to look.

....meanwhile, the bike E sure gets some strange looks in "our" little town in Mexico!

Rats! I meant to also say that mine is the RX, fully suspended and extended bike E.
