What a great concept! U-locks can be very clumsey and heavy.
Hey, I just found this board. I've wondered why the whettens email group doesn't use a format like this. It's a nuisance going thru posts you don't want to read.
Anyway, I love my 96 CT, I had been considering upgrading, but I think I might just stick with it. Stable, stalwart and reliable, and why would I need to go faster? Less excercise?

Welcome to the board Moosebear. I hope someone out there has used one of these locks. I was told they were made by master. They just look neat and easy to use.

Has anyone seen or used the handcuff-type lock over on the BigHa website? It looks interesting and costs about as much as a quality U-lock. Well, if it costs as much as a quality U-lock on BigHa's site, then it's got to cost a LOT less elsewhere.
