I have decided to try another message board. The Aimoo board had too many pop-up ads and some folks were having problems with it. The provider was also having technical difficulties too often. This new board still has ads but they are of the banner variety which I think are a little less annoying. Anyway, I will test it for a period of time and we will see how it goes. To begin with, registration will not be required. I would like to give the board a trial-run first. Let me know what you think.

Philip,
I hope this is better. You are right about the pop-ups. We cannot get rid of smartpops now. I'd love it to work as the old bulletin board was the very best.
I haven't had the time to get out for a ride and my weight is going up. I need some good weather. We have had some great weather recently so I hope it keeps up for Saturday.
Regards,
Robin.

I'm waiting for all of this invasive internet crud to be made illegal. I had to laugh when telemarketers were complaining about the new "do not call list". Like they have the right to invade my privacy every evening. Maybe we will see something similar happen to spammers and pop-up ad creators. 50 million telephone customers sent a message to the marketing sharks. Just this last weekend I had to format my hard drive because it had become so overwhelmed with internet spy software, pop-up junk and such.

Ah little off topic but, I think there should be a law, something like: Telemarketers should be charged :Dfor using or loading up my message phone as their own corprate advertising platform! Say maybe $1.00 for each message left, and $20. for every repeat message!

seems like congress is working on something. I just hope it's as good as the telemarketing ban list. They get all bent out of shape cause they might loose their jobs, yet they think it's fine to invade my privacy. Maybe we could modify the stalking law ;D
