I have a BikeE CT. The frame of the Sweat Seet's back rest is cracked in the back near the bottom, near the joint. It looks like it can be welded back together. Can anyone recommend someone who has done this type of repair?

Michael,
The rod required must be stainless steel for the stays are chromemolybdenum. The stays are hollow and the best course of action is to remove the seat, sliders and webbing from the frame. Take it to someone who is a sheet metal worker. Ask around to get someone who is recommended. The end of each of the tubes must be crimped together prior to the welding. This provides a greater welding surface. Paint the welds and the surrounding areas with galvafroid paint to stop the area rusting. The owners of two bike shops I know would be prepared to help you.
I will email their email addresses to you.
Regards, Robin.
