Looking at adding an electric hub motor to our E2 and was told they come with a brake lever which cuts the motor, if you're using cruise control Was told they're designed to work with levers for the V-brake Does anyone know if BikeE uses V-brakes or cantilever or how you tell the difference ??

Not sure how to upload PDF and Word documents [can turn the Word into PDF] Perhaps someone can explain the procedure Because we have an AT, an NX and an E2 - it's a variety I have the BikeE manual in Word - 21 pg, E2 supplement PDF 3 pg, Seat Slider replacement PDF 2 pg, V Brake PDF 1 pg, Schlumpf Mountain drive PDF 37 pg, Cane Creek AD-5 Rebuild PDF 2 pg, Blow-up of AD-5 parts PDF 1 pg, and several on install, rebuilding and bleeding the Hayes Disc brakes, also a 2 pg on Independent Pedaling By no means an exhaustive collection but some - glad to share, just don't know how to upload them

I added a Cyclone electric kit to my BikeE; the brake HANDLES which were supplied with the kit replaced the BikeE brake handles with no trouble. The switches in the handles cut the power to the electric motor when they're depressed.

Pegashus,
We've been able to get some limited rides on our E2 since we installed the AmpedBikes rear direct drive hub motor - sure makes it easier to climb the hills
Wish we'd have gotten the geared motor, smaller, lighter, less drag but overall the installation worked and the benefits far outweigh the minor drag and weight issues
