I have an model NX I would like to sell. It is in good shape, except that the brakes need work. I will throw in the Cane Creek shock pump and a Bike E bag, all for $600.
BTW: Does ANYONE have a clue as to how to fix and or re-engineer this bike to get the rear brakes working again? The Hayes original equipment brakes are shot, and they don't make parts any more. Does anyone have a lead on a reasonably priced machine shop?
I live in Bethesda, MD.
Thanks,

Don,
What went out on your NX hydraulic brakes - if it's the lever portion read my post in the Technical section on Hayes Hydraulic brakes for NX The "master cylinders" on my wife's NX went out and I replaced them If it's the calipers, the problem now a larger bolt pattern - used to be 25mm but I think they make an adapter to allow you to install the newer calipers - check the Haynes website - helpful folks
