HI All,
I just picked up an (older? No suspension) BikeE and I'm curious as to when it was made. it has serial # 19658.
Does anyone know of a resource for dating a bike base on the serial no.?
I have read some things that indicate that the color may be an indicator as well. In my case the bike is red.
I suspect mine is and older bike because the rear wheel stays are made of rectangular steel tubing and attached to the main keel beam using pop rivets rather than welds as I've seen in other bikeEs.
