I've recently started to hear a clicking sound when I apply the front brake of my CT. Seems to click once each time the wheel goes around. Not a scraping sound or thump but a click. Thought at first there might be a little pebble stuck in brake pad but that's not the case. Brake pads are in good shape and wheel was rebuilt less than 3 years ago. Any thoughts? Thanks!

The clicking sound could be from the weld line on the rim. Feel the braking surface on both sides of the rim to see if there is a raised portion where the welded joint occurs.

What type of brakes are you using ? I have come across a case of clicking with canti-lever brakes. It comes whenever the brakes are applied. A few drops of lube on the part that looks like the inverted Y...solved the problem.
