I just bought 2 Bike E bikes on Craigslist, and we love them. However, after just a few weeks the sliders broke and the seat came off. As a woodworker, I made some replacements with white oak.
But I know that is temporary, so I am looking at getting some HDPE (high density polyethylene) stock and making some more. I was just wondering if there would be an interest if I made a bunch of them, and sold them for, say $10/set of 4? Just to offset the cost of the material? Any input on the demand would be appreciated. Thanks.

I dont need any sliders as I own the later improved seat. Just so you know the sliders have been redesigned for the older bikes and can be purchased online through Bicycle man. They are about 35.00 for a set of 4. They look like they are much better built than the originals. Enjoy your new to you bike E.
