Once upon a time, I came across a TANDEM Bike E. I thought my wife would love to go pedaling together, but that does not seem to be happening very often.
This bike cost about $2000 new, it has very little use. I don't have the original manual or any paperwork. It has 3x9 gears and disc brakes and works just fine. I even have two (unattached) fenders.
Can anyone here give me any advice on how to proceed if/when I decide to sell this bike?
How can I determine a fair price, and where besides here would be a good place to post?
Thanks very much for any suggestions.

Hi Al, Sorry to hear your wife didn't enjoy the E-2. I have been hoping my wife would enjoy a tandem and would sure consider an E-2 if you decide to sell. Here are a couple of sites where you could list your bike: www.doubledates.com/Buy_Sell/body_buy_sell.htmlwww.ihpva.org/index.phpPrice is a tougher issue. Because of the demise of BikeE the whole line is devalued so it's worth what someone is willing to pay. I have heard there are a couple of E-2s for sale in the Bay area. I look forward to hearing from you. Regards, migs

Are you selling the E2? If so, how much?
Thanks, htom

When we purchased our E2 from a couple in Florida back in Sep 09, we had also located another E2 in a bike shop in FL. They said it was new. We did NOT look at it, as they wanted almost full price - $2300 It's probably still there at that price. If you're interested, I'll see if I still have their information.

Looking around for an Independent Pedaling System for our E2 and found a red E2 at AngelTechCycles in Woodland Park, CO www.angletechcycles.com/trades.htm - asking $1600, looks nice
