Hey all,
I have a new to me BikeE CT (I think it's a CT)
It came with a 20x1.38 rear and a 16x1.38 front High pressure Primo Comets on it.
Having a heck of a time getting replacements locally... no store has them in stock and they have been on order for 4 weeks from the closest and largest bike shop and have yet to arrive.
My thought anyway was I saw that a lot of BikeE's had a set of 1.75 standard tires on them and was wondering what rim - and tires would be recommended for hard top use.
As well - obviously the brakes on it now for the 1.38 won't work for the 1.75's - does anyone know what brake would fit the new size rims and tires?
And - with the 21 speed (internal 3) would it be possible to use a decent Disk brake on the rear?
And one last question - if I post a pic of it - can you tell me exactly what BikeE model it is...? or is there a place on the bike the model should be stated as well as a serial number of the bike? Is there a way to tell what year it was made as well?
Thanx chase

chase you can change the tire size with a different set of tubes and tires. Doubt you would need to change the rims. We stock a lot of 20/16 tire sizes including the Primo Comet w/Kevlar belt and reflective sidewall. I use them on my personal ride. They are not cheap. Message me if I can help.

By the way chase why are you wanting a different size anyway. the 1.35s are great for the hardtop highway.
