Recently purchased a BikeE that I'd like to know if anyone can identify the model, year, etc. I was told that it came from the dealer new with options I haven't seen before. Front and rear Hayes disc brakes, 2 speed crank hub, narrow rims, eight speed sram derailleur and green anodized frame. Everything is in great condition and the bike rides extremely well. I just bought a Green 7 speed Bike E NX with single speed crank and dual Hayes disk brakes. Is it possible to upgrade to a 2 or 3 speed crank? Can you send a picture of how your front derailleur is mounted?

The bike already comes with a two speed hub. Just push the button in the center of the hub to change the speed. I have never seen or heard of anyone putting a front derailleur on a bikeE. You can do the common three speed rear hub that all the CT and the AT came with.

I have owned my NX for a little over a year now. Replaced tires and disc brake pads. It's like new now. Previous discussion about the two speed crank is correct; just tap the protruding pin on the crank left or right with your heel as you pedal. Works slick!
