I am looking to ship my BikeE from Long Island, NY to Pueblo, Colorado(Where I moved). I am looking to contact some companies on line or someone suggested UPS. Any guidance or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!!

Second UPS. Take your Bike E to a local bike shop and have them pack and ship it. be a lot cheaper if you could pack and ship, not that difficult. I but several bike from all over the us and it is easy to find a shop that will pack & ship bikes.

I recently tried to ship my bike by airline, American / US Airways charges $200. I also got a quote from Fedex for $650! If you break down the bike to reduce the total length this Fedex price drops significantly. By removing the wheels, seat, air shock, fork, handle bars, then taping and padding the parts without disconnecting them completely, it fits in a 9 inch tube of cardboard times the length of your frame. The wheels and seat will go into another box.

Best to take it to a bike shop one that sells recumbents and have them box it up for shipping. They would also have a good handle on the best shipping Company to use for shipping.
