I got a BikeE that's somewhat of a prototype- one of the earliest models.
It has a small seat that doesn't look like the SweetSeat. I'm trying to figure out if I can find a replacement mesh for it or have to make my own.
The seat back has two tubes pointing vertically, with no horizontal connecting them at the top. My mesh back blew off while driving with the bike on the back of the vehicle, and I have to replace it now (ugh).
Where can I get this and more importantly how do I describe that type of seat- did they just make two types or were there more distinctions between the non-SweetSeat type of seats?

dang, I just found this page on this site: www.simplecom.net/poleary/seats.htmand unfortunately mine isn't either of them. Mine has shorter verticals for the seatback. Does that sound familiar to anyone?

You will more than likely need to make your own replacement. Shade fabric can work well. It can be found at hardware stores. This is the fabric that Lowes, Walmart, Home Depot, etc. use over their garden areas.

Not all seats have a high back, mine is low and there is a cross bar about 3 inches below the top.
