Anyone know were I can find the shock absorber under the seat of a Bike E recumbent?

That is a toughie.....it is a Cane Creek AD5 which has been out of manufacture by Cane Creek for a long time. Your best bet is probably to go with a rockshock coil spring equivalent. You can lurk on eBay for a long time but they rarely show up any more. Now if you still have the original shock, you can find the rebuild seal kits online and either do it yourself or get a bike shop to do it. They rebuild well. Mine was a 1998 original and finally started needing pumped up every day. I had the LBS rebuild it and it is working fine for this past year.

You can also join the Bike E group on Facebook for leads. Paul Atwood, the lead engineer on the design of the BikeE way back is on there from time to time.
