I am surprised to see a BikeE forum still in existence! I picked up a tandem via Craig’s List. Has anyone built a cargo box to replace the rear seat? I am thinking that popping the rear seat off and having a box for grocery shopping would be nice. Given the length, it would make a nice cargo bike, I am thinking. Anyone who has done so please respond. (My three kids are insisting on daily rides, and we are having a blast with our first tandem; its my fourth recumbent).
