I am trying to get a head count of how many members are still active and use this resource.
Thanks for the help

I'd like to own another actually, maybe a RX, except they don't come up for sale much in the UK.

Hi Philip, I own two CTs. I've logged about 1,200 miles this summer and about 800 were on my BikeE. Great bike to transport in the minivan and to ride on the crushed gravel trails. This site was a great help to me when I first started. It seems alot of the initial members have sold their BikeEs and have moved on to other recumbents. Although I also have a Burley and a Lightning I will probably continue to ride my BikeEs until they totally fall apart. Chris

Chris, you may be correct about the original owners moving on. I started the poll to see how many folks still come here and use the information. I was considering a refreshing of the pages but need to see if the effort will be used.
Cheers
Philip

I have two 2002 CT XL's but haven't ridden them since we moved a couple years ago. I'm going to dig them out, I'm tired of the treadmill. :-)

I am a new member as well as a new bikeE owner. I just bought an FX at a sports equipment recycle center. I can't ride a regular bike anymore because of some health problems and I have been looking to get a recumbent for some time. I just wish there was more information out there about these neat bikes. A manual would be nice to have. A download place for manuals could be handy. Allan

Philip, Thanks sooooo very much for the website to download a manual. This is a great help. I didn't think I would be able to ride anymore and I was pretty unhappy about that. So when I found the bikeE and went for a test drive the smile just kept getting bigger and bigger. Thank you for your website. Allan

I just bought a BikeE AT as my second recumbent. I was a little concerned about getting a bike that has been out of production for so long, but places like this forum decided me that parts and techical know how are pretty easy to come by. My other bent is a custom LWB, that is somewhat based on EZ-1, but the BikeE has quickly become my favorite. It is a shame that the msg went bust.

I will add my tuppence worth. I got my first BikeE in May 2002 but fell out with the 'comfort seat' after 1100 miles. I went back to uprights due to the lack of 'bents in Northern Ireland but couldn't get comfortable so I checked out the owner of the only other BikeE I know and agreed to swap my Dawes Galaxy for his 2001 CT. I have it to my way of liking and have my sights set on doing the Bangor Coastal Challenge www.entrycentral.com/index.php?raceID=100180 in four months time. I'm so glad to be back on a BikeE.
